Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform regular maintenance checks and servicing of a wide range of lifts to ensure they meet safety and performance standards.
2. Respond quickly and effectively to lift breakdowns, troubleshooting and carrying out necessary repairs.
3. Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with industry safety regulations.
4. Manage and log maintenance and repair activities, ensuring documentation is up to date.
5. Work with a variety of lift models, becoming an expert in the field through on-the-job training and ongoing professional development.
6. Provide high levels of customer service and communication with clients to ensure satisfaction.
7. Collaborate with a team of experienced engineers, learning from them and contributing to team success.
Requirements:
1. Full, valid UK driving license is essential.
2. Local to the South Coast area – you will be covering local clients, so living close to the area is a must.
3. Experience in lift maintenance is preferable but not essential; full training will be provided for the right candidate.
4. An electrical or engineering background is desirable, but not a requirement – we are open to applicants with a keen interest in the engineering field.
5. A strong work ethic, problem-solving abilities, and the willingness to learn new skills.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard.
7. Good communication skills, as you'll be interacting with clients and team members on a daily basis.
Additional Information:
1. Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
2. Weekend/Call-out Duties: One weekend per month for on-call duties (weekend call-outs are paid overtime).
3. Overtime: Paid overtime available on weekdays and weekends.
4. Training: Comprehensive training will be provided, including hands-on experience, and ongoing support to help you develop your technical skills and industry knowledge.
