Thornden School are seeking an outstanding individual to join our friendly and experienced team of Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to cover maternity leave, helping inspire confidence in our students and support their learning. As students are supported in all areas of the curriculum, in both academic and practical subjects, LSAs must be prepared to work across a variety of departments and subjects.
Hours: 28.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday (08:50am-14:55pm, Wednesdays 08:30am-14:55pm), Term time only (please note that we will also consider applications for other part-time working hours).

Responsible to: Becky Roadnight, SENCO and Teacher - RS, and Sarah Little, SENCO and Teacher - English
Thornden is an oversubscribed school serving Chandler’s Ford and the surrounding area with just over 1470 students on roll. We have an ambitious ethos based on high expectations for all. About the role:
As an LSA, you will support students in class, lead small groups and work with individuals who may have learning, physical, sensory, behaviour or communication difficulties.
