This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary of £41,000 per year, along with a company van and a fuel card for commuting to and from work. As a Domestic Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality gas installation, servicing, and maintenance within residential properties. Key Responsibilities: Performing gas installations, servicing, and maintenance work in residential properties. Conduct gas safety inspections and issue homeowner gas safety certificates. Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on heating systems, appliances, and gas boilers. Ensure all work is carried out to the highest safety and compliance standards. Maintain accurate records of all works carried out and ensure paperwork is completed as required. Provide excellent customer service, explaining technical issues in a clear and concise manner. Respond to emergency repair requests when necessary. Qualifications & Skills Required: Gas Safe Registration (essential). Previous experience working as a domestic gas engineer, ideally within a social housing environment. Valid domestic gas qualifications (e.g., ACS, CCN1, CENWAT, CPA1, etc.). Full UK driving licence. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and repair a variety of gas-related issues. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
