RPS has an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Project Coordinator to assist with the coordination of projects and provide support to Project Managers and Senior Management to achieve the goals of RPS’ Asset Inspection team in Scotland.
The Project Coordinator will support Senior/Project Managers in project planning & scheduling, project administration and progress reporting. The role ensures that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You will also provide support to the Commercial Manager with project cost control, budget monitoring, monthly invoicing and any ad-hoc commercial requests.
About The Team:
RPS Asset Inspection are a team of Engineers and Field Inspectors providing Engineering Consultancy to Water Industry clients throughout the UK to support their business planning and project delivery. About You:
As a key member of the Water Consultancy business, your role as Project Coordinator is critical to helping us deliver great projects for our Water Industry clients. You will be able to identify project risks and have keen attention to detail. You will be working alongside a multi-disciplinary team of water project experts on a range of capital delivery projects.
You will have a substantial opportunity to contribute towards optioneering, outline, and detailed design expertise across various frameworks. Our scope of work encompasses a wide range of technically demanding projects in the field of Wastewater Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
* Assist Project Managers with resource allocation planning.
* Direct communication with customers to schedule site inspections across multiple projects.
* Maintain project schedules and timelines, ensuring milestones are tracked.
* Coordinate with team members to compile progress reports.
* Assist in conducting project reviews.
* Track project spend against budgets, prepare budget reports and assist in financial forecasting.
* Organise project meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting minutes.
* Maintain project documentation and ensure all records are up-to-date.
* Monitor project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
* Identify and escalate issues and risks to the Project Manager.
* Maintain a project risk and issues log.
* Track resource availability and update schedules accordingly.
* Support the implementation of IMS quality control processes.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
* Proven experience in project coordination or a similar role.
* Proficiency with MS Office 365 applications and project management software (e.g. MS Projects).
* Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experience with budgeting and financial reporting.
* Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
* Driving License.
* The ideal candidate must always communicate openly and honestly and demonstrate a willingness to learn.
* A solution-focused and collaborative approach is essential for success in this role.
* Planning and Organising: efficiently prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
* Team Collaboration: work effectively within a team, fostering a collaborative environment.

Qualifications:
* BA degree in Business Administration, Project Management or a related field is beneficial but not essential.
