As an Engineer Officer (Aerosystems) you will manage the maintenance and operation of the RAF’s cutting-edge aircraft and supporting technology.
You will ensure aircraft are ready to fly at all times and provide engineering management for RAF aircraft maintenance. You will oversee the safety of munitions and other explosive materials. You will be responsible for setting, influencing, and maintaining air-safety policy and direction and leading and managing large teams of highly skilled technicians.

What We Are Looking For
* An accredited Bachelors or Masters in an appropriate engineering or scientific subject e.g.: aeronautical engineering; electrical engineering or electronic engineering.
* Applicants must also have a GCSE at Grade C/4 or Scottish National 5 at Grade C in English Language.
* Joining age: 21-47.
* You must be a citizen of the UK or the Republic of Ireland, holder of a dual UK/other nationality or have been a Commonwealth citizen since birth (with a right to work immigration status).
* Whether or not you were born in the United Kingdom, you should have resided there for the 5 years immediately preceding your application. However, candidates with a minimum of three years will be considered.
* You must pass the Officer and Aircrew selection centre.
* You must pass a fitness test.

Location: UK wide
Pay during Initial Officer training - £33,100 + benefits; pay after three years of service and promotion to the rank of Flt Lt £50,500 + benefits.
Contract, dates and working times: Full-time.
