Responsibilities:
1. Clean and maintain assigned areas, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
2. Ensure all rooms are properly stocked with amenities and supplies.
3. Change bed linens, clean bathrooms, dust furniture, and vacuum carpets.
4. Respond to guest requests and inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
5. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department.
6. Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cleanliness and safety.
7. Adhere to health and safety guidelines while performing cleaning tasks.
Requirements:
1. Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field preferred, however full training can be given.
2. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
3. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
4. Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment.
5. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
6. Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects as needed.
Skills:
1. Hotel: Familiarity with hotel operations, including housekeeping standards and procedures.
2. Commercial cleaning: Experience in cleaning commercial spaces, such as offices or public areas is useful but not compulsory.
