* Accountable for delivery of the projects and programmesand results of the team
Financially plan and achieve acceptable businessfinancial objectives for orders, sales, gross margin andcash Monitorand report project/programme performance for schedule, technical,financial and quality objectives Establish and maintain strong customer and supplierrelationships maintaining regular communications and managingexpectations Overseethe development, establishment and continuous improvement andtailoring of procedures and guidelines for operation of theproject/programme, ensuring adherence to the Operational Frameworkand LCM mandates Pro-actively engage with the talent managementprocess
Your skillsandexperiences:
Essential:
* Formaltraining in Project Management (accredited by APM, PMI or PRINCE),with knowledge of scheduling and risk software tools (e.g. MSProject & Predict!)
Experience working as aProject/Programme Manager on complex projects/programmes withextensive knowledge of Project Management and ideally from acomparable industry (Defence/Manufacturing/Engineeringsector)
Desirable:
1. Degree-levelqualification (engineering discipline preferred) or comparableexperience in the engineering/manufacturing sector, withdemonstrable Project Management delivery experience, ideally from acomparable industry (Defence)
Experience in building customerrelationships and achieving high levels of customersatisfaction Experience in managing risks andopportunities to the benefit of the programme
