We have a unique opportunity for a full time Butcher to join our Savoury department at our prestigious Ascot Drive Bakery.
Responsibilities
* Processing primal cuts of meat for sausage, pork pies and sausage rolls
* Operating bowl chopper
* Cooking and preparing fillings for pies and pasties
* Operating mincer and dicer
Shifts
The role is 45 hours per week, working a day shift starting at 5am. The role will require working 1 in 5 Saturdays to support our 7 day operation.
Experience
* Experience in sausage production, along with experience working in a high care/cooked meat environment
* A positive, flexible attitude and to be able to work under pressure without compromising quality or safety
* The ability to work to a high standard in an efficient, clean and tidy manner, observing the highest food hygiene guidelines to meet strict despatch deadlines
Qualifications
The selection process will involve a block test and interview.
4 weeks holiday per year increasing incrementally each year to 5 weeks holiday per year (after 5 years continuous service) plus bank holidays. Staff discount.
