Are you on the lookout for a new part-time job with satisfaction you'd struggle to find anywhere else?
You're in luck! Our fantastic #TeamDrum in Dunfermline is now seeking two caring, patient, and flexible colleagues to join us on a permanent basis (18 hours per week). We also offer relief opportunities for those seeking more flexible hours.
The Role
The great thing about this job is that no two days are ever the same. You'll be part of a friendly, supportive team caring for four amazing ladies with profound and complex needs. Your base will be within their fully adapted, purpose-built home in Dunfermline, equipped with ceiling hoists and adaptive technology.
As a Support Practitioner, you'll assist with all aspects of their daily living, including attending appointments, meal prep, managing finances, and housework. Some ladies use wheelchairs, so support with personal care will be necessary. They are non-verbal with limited communication, so building understanding will take time, but the job and their company are rewarding.
Our team encourages the ladies to live valued lives through various activities, including days out and in-home activities like arts and crafts or alpaca visits.
The ladies have mobility cars; a full, clean manual UK driving license is desirable but not essential for the right candidate.
About You
We seek someone passionate about making a difference, with a bubbly, outgoing personality and creative activity planning skills. Experience or qualifications are not necessary; we value transferable skills and our core values. We will provide training, fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7), and cover your yearly SSSC registration fees.
What we need you to bring:
* A caring attitude
* A positive learning approach
* Good teamwork and initiative
* Confidence with computers
Shift Patterns
We provide 24-hour support with shifts typically between 0700-2200. This includes waking nights, sleepovers, weekends, and holidays on a rotational basis. Sleepovers are paid additionally (£96 per sleepover), and waking nights are paid at your standard rate plus a supplement.
If interested, apply today! We look forward to hearing from you.

Please note: If you've been outside the UK (excluding certain countries) for over 12 months in the last 10 years after turning 18, you'll need to provide a criminal record check. Also, new employees must register with the SSSC within 3 months of starting.
