Starting salary: £32,689 - £43,298 + guaranteed overtime. (OTE £55K)
We're looking to attract high calibre fully qualified power networks electrical fitters to join our business to help us develop our power network, delivering a low carbon active network for future generations. You will be required to work on construction and repairs across our network from LV/HV and EHV up to 132kV and should hold either a City and Guilds part 232 Certificate or an EPN Competency Certificate.

If you're successful, you’ll join our teams of fully qualified craftspersons as a Power System Fitter specialising in Protection Systems on our network.
Successful candidates will also benefit from continual training in new and emerging skills and may be eligible for additional educational sponsorship if desired to help further career development.
Successful candidates will be required to work out of hours through standby arrangements. Being responsive at short notice in adverse weather is also a requirement of these roles.

Essential Qualifications: - evidence must be provided
Minimum City and Guilds Level 3 in electrical systems
Desirable Qualifications:
HNC or Level 4 qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Essential Experience:
• Previous experience on electrical power networks
• Knowledge of the design and operation of electrical systems
Desirable Experience:
• Knowledge and experience of protection systems in power networks
• Protection, SCADA and Control Systems Experience
• Have previous operational experience to level of competent person
• Experience of maintaining and testing protection systems up to 132kV
• Previous experience of panel wiring on protection systems up to 132kV
