So, who are we looking for? You’ll be an experienced Credit Controller looking to take the next step in your career or a seasoned Senior Credit Controller looking to join a dynamic, forward-thinking company that genuinely values its people. You’ll be a detail-oriented professional assisting with all aspects of credit control for service charges, rent and/or utilities recharges in accordance with debt collection procedure for all England & Wales managed properties. You’ll bring with you professionalism and a positive attitude as you work collaboratively with internal departments to assist with customer queries and deliver first class customer service. You’re someone who takes pride in delivering exceptional service, not just meeting expectations but exceeding them and you’ll be able to showcase your ability to support the rest of the team leading by example and showcasing exceptional practice. And what will you be doing? No two days are the same but the below gives you a flavour for some of the tasks you’d typically be involved with. Even if you can’t tick everything off from the list below but think you’ve got what it takes, we’d be keen for you to apply: • Agree payment terms for tenant arrears, within the set business guidelines • Work effectively with internal departments to assist with customer queries • Ensure that all customer communications are responded to appropriately and in line with internal KPIs • Review accounts during each step of the credit control process to ensure all queries are closed prior instructing solicitors • Work as part of a team on all general administration of the credit control & accounts shared inbox • Support other departments if funds are low and require urgent chasing • Support the other credit control team members in their daily duties • Carry out ongoing training to the credit control team, when required • Be a point of contact for other credit controllers, whilst supporting the credit manager • Complete client reports for Board members • Review late payment fee remove requests and remove as required • Contact solicitors when cases need to be referred due to non-payment • Respond to leaseholder/freeholder complaints in a timely manner • Run arrears reports on ad hoc basis for property managers, head of finance manager and Directors if required • Constantly assess credit control procedures to make sure they are working effectively alongside the credit manager What’s in it for you?
