This leading, specialist healthcare provider is searching for a compassionate Nurse to lead their Nursing team within their Prison Service based in Hemel Hempstead. This healthcare provider offers outstanding healthcare throughout a multitude of services including, Primary and Secondary as well as Health in Justice. Within Health in Justice, they further pride themselves on providing effective and efficient healthcare and promote empowerment, encouraging individuals to take their health seriously throughout their 40+ prisons.
As a Clinical Lead Nurse for this role, you will be working closely with the Head of Healthcare to provide outstanding levels of care both clinically to patients and operationally to the wider team. Operationally, this could include the contribution of audits, KPI’s, safeguarding, and governance. Using your high-quality patient care and experience managing a team of skilled nurses, you will have the opportunity to develop the team to ensure consistency throughout the service. You will be assisting in the development of staff through specific training programmes and holding specific healthcare meetings. Whilst you will have such an operational presence, you will have the opportunity to work clinically if required.

What we’re looking for from you:
* BSc in Nursing with valid NMC registration
* Experience within an acute setting.
* Understanding of QOF, health and safety, and clinical governance.
* Experience with team management
* Ability to work autonomously with a forward-thinking approach.
* Ability to work in a busy environment with a non-judgemental and compassionate approach
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

This prison service is based in Hemel Hempstead, commutable from Luton, Watford, St Albans, Aylesbury, High Wycombe, Welwyn Garden City, Slough, Harrow, Amersham and Leighton Buzzard.
