We are currently looking to recruit a Group HR Assistant to be based in the Banbury office (Beaumont Road, Banbury OX16 1RH).
Purpose:
Reporting into the Group HR Business Partner (HRBP), this role will provide vital administrative support across all HR functions, with a strong focus on supporting the training and recruitment needs of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Training
1. Responsible for organisation of the Groups internal / external training needs, and record as necessary.
2. Conduct HR inductions for new starters and other HR training as necessary.
3. Implement and be responsible for the Groups Work Experience Programme.
4. Implement and be responsible for the Groups Apprenticeship Programme.
Recruitment
1. Responsible for managing the recruitment needs of the Group.
Administration
1. Responsible for all HR administration relating to the employee lifecycle.
2. Accurately maintain the HR (PeopleHR) & T&A system (Go2Clock) with any changes that affect the HR / Payroll within relevant payroll timescales.
3. Ensure we are continually legally compliant such as adhering to right to work checks, driving licence checks and maintaining accurate and up to date records.
4. Responsible for managing multiple HR inboxes.
5. Answering queries from colleagues and managers which relate to policies and benefits, escalating to HRBP where necessary.
6. Deputise for the HRBP in the payroll process as required.
7. Deputise for the HRBP by taking notes in investigatory / disciplinary meetings as required.
8. Assist the HRBP with projects and any other ad-hoc duties as required.

Experience:
1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail (Essential).
2. Proven experience in HR administration processes including onboarding, recruitment disciplinary and absence management (Essential).
3. Knowledge of HR employment practice including basic employment law and HR best practice (Essential).
4. Valid driving licence and ability to travel to other sites when required (Essential).
5. Proven experience of using HR systems (Desirable).
