We are currently recruiting for Civil & Electrical Field Managers to be responsible for the day-to-day safe operation of the site and provide supervision of all activities for ongoing New Connection & Capital Works.
The Field Manager will ensure that all activities on site are undertaken in accordance with statutory requirements and per customer/company policies and standards for our clients' sites across the Northern Powergrid (NPg) network.
Some of the key deliverables in this role will include:
1. Ensure Company Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality policies are followed
2. Adhere to PPTW process
3. Manage and control site safety and operations
4. Ensure personnel under control are trained and competent
5. Recognise best practices and promote innovative ideas
6. Support incident investigations
7. Promote Freedom values
8. Ensure all records/registers are kept up to date on a daily basis
9. Manage and Deliver the Connection Workstream
10. Outage and work planning
11. Performance of site teams.
What we’re looking for:
1. Experience working within the utility industry
2. Previous experience working within NPg is preferential
3. UG Electricity Network Experience
4. CDM Site Management Experience
5. Excellent organisational & programming skills
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organisational levels
7. NEBOSH/SMSTS Level Safety accreditation - Desirable
8. Emergency First Aid
9. NRSWA
10. Full Driving Licence.
