Village Health Group (VHG) is a large multi-site GP Practice in Rushcliffe, South Nottinghamshire. The 4 sites are located at East Leake, Keyworth, Ruddington & Sutton Bonington.

We are looking to recruit a full-time administrator position supporting the day-to-day business, providing quality patient care and development of collaborative processes.
Main duties of the job
The role will involve a variety of administration tasks across all areas of the practice to include effectively supporting the management team and wider colleagues with queries. Specialising in more advanced administration including Rota application, nurse & HCA clinic administration and support & group wide administration.
We are looking for an experienced practice administrator who is very organised and self-sufficient with excellent attention to detail, who can effectively support the management team and wider colleagues with queries. Experience in a fast-paced environment is essential, with the ability to think on your feet and demonstrate a pro-active approach to problem solving.

The successful candidate will need to have a flexible approach and be able to work at any of the 4 sites, so access to transport is essential for this role.

Job Description: Management Team Administrator
Role in Practice: Experienced practice administrator who is able to effectively support the management team and wider colleagues with queries. Specialising in more advanced administration including Rota application, nurse & HCA clinic administration and support & group wide administration.
Responsible for: Supporting the management team to ensure the effective smooth running of the practice including any new initiatives.
Band: L2
Accountable to: Practice Manager
Responsibilities:
1. Take the lead on a significant area of admin across VHG, predominantly Nurse & HCA clinic rotas.
2. Train new colleagues as directed and act as a buddy and support.
3. Mentor and support L1 colleagues.
4. Provide administration support as required for the allocation and training of students and GPRs within the practice.
5. Able to effectively complete work as directed by the Practice Manager, Team Leaders, and Reception manager.
6. Take the lead on practice specific improvement projects as directed by the practice team leaders and Practice Manager.
7. Ensure that rota templates are applied as directed by the Practice manager and troubleshoot as required for all 4 sites rotas.
8. Other management support admin as required, including minute taking for meetings and meeting preparation.
9. SystmOne expert and able to support other colleagues at all levels with SystmOne.
10. Support the management team with vaccination clinics.
11. Providing data submissions and operational data as directed by the practice manager.
12. Provide cover and support if required on reception.
13. Have at least 2 years experience working within a General Practice setting.
