The Role – Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Assistant Financial Controller will play a crucial role in preparing monthly financial statements and ensuring compliance with internationally accepted accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
The Person – To be the ideal candidate, you must have:
* University degree, preferably with a major in Accounting and 3 year’s experience preparing financial statements. Knowledge of investment accounting is also preferred.
* Must possess a professional Accounting designation (CA, CPA, CMA).
* Superior communication and organizational skills.
* Proficiency in MS Excel and Word, preferably at an intermediate user level.
* Great Plains knowledge would be an asset.
