Are you a confident and knowledgeable Psychology Teacher?
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Psychology Teacher to join the welcoming staff team at one of our partnership Secondary Schools based in Harrogate, HG2. You will be responsible for delivering engaging Psychology lessons for pupils across the KS5 curriculum to meet the needs of the faculty. You will ideally have previous experience in a similar role and be confident adapting lesson input to meet the individual learning needs of students.
The part-time role will provide teaching cover with immediate start until May half term initially, there may be the opportunity for extension dependent on the needs of the school. You will work 4 days per week (Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday) and be competent teaching Psychology across the KS5 curriculum.
The Co-educational Secondary Academy and Sixth Form caters for students aged 11-18, promoting a supportive and inclusive environment for learning and progression. You will work in collaboration with the existing staff team to ensure continuity in learning, effective progression and promote a positive learning environment.
You can expect to earn up to £230 per day for this role, salary is negotiable dependent on experience.
We are seeking a Teacher with:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for their subject
* Competent teaching Psychology at KS5
* Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum
* An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us
* Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship
