The Role
AsSenior Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing a proactive sales strategy, identifying new business opportunities, and building strong relationships with key clients. Your focus will be on driving revenue, increasing occupancy, and positioning the venue as a leading choice for a variety of events.
* Develop and implement a proactive sales strategy to secure new business.
* Identify and target corporate clients, agencies, and event planners.
* Build strong relationships with potential and existing clients to maximise revenue.
* Work closely with the events teams to create compelling sales campaigns.
* Represent the venue at industry events, networking functions, and sales meetings.
* Provide accurate forecasting and reporting on sales performance.
* Lead and mentor a small sales team, ensuring targets are met and exceeded.
* Reporting into the Operations Director and supporting company wide sales initiatives when required.
The Candidate
* A proven track record in proactive sales within the events, hospitality, or venue industry.
* Experience in securing corporate event bookings and managing key accounts.
* Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
* Strategic thinker with the ability to drive revenue and business growth.
* A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
