Job Title: Sales Representative
Salary: £45,000-£54,000 depending on experience
Location: Desford, Leicestershire – hybrid considered with 3 days in the office
Contract: Permanent & full time
Travel: up to 50% significant international travel required mainly within the EU with some global travel
What you will do:
As a Sales Representative, you will consult with dealers to market Caterpillar Building Construction Products and Services and assist in the development of dealer sales capability within the Netherlands and Norway.
Your responsibilities include:
* Responsible for selling the full range of products and solutions (integrated solutions), whilst supporting dealers in developing short and long-term sales strategies.
* Exceed Business Plan Sales and Market Share targets for all machines, work tools, and Customer Value Agreements (Aftermarket).
* Accountable for the merchandising support budget for the assigned territory.
* Assisting dealers on demand and supply management targeting optimal pipeline to achieve business goals.
* Supporting dealers in tender business by recommending the right combination of products & services.
* Supporting dealer and Caterpillar marketing teams to deliver tailored campaigns to acquire new customers.
* Analysing and communicating marketplace and competitive activity to Caterpillar personnel and dealers.
What You Can Demonstrate:
* Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the organization's industry group, trends, and major issues.
* Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Ability to analyse situations and reach productive decisions.
* Relationship Management: Ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients and peers.
* Value Selling: Knowledge of selling products and services, and ability to provide overall product/service 'value'.
Top Candidates Will Have:
* Ability to write and verbally converse in English, with a second European language desirable.
* Knowledge of Caterpillar products and merchandising programs.
* Proven track record of success in a field representative role in the construction equipment industry.
* Experience in creating roadmaps with dealers to achieve sustainable growth.
First Stage Interviews wc 18 November and on-site face-to-face interviews wc 25 November.
