Job Description
As a Structural Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Mechanical & Composites team within the Engineering Competency Centres. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure Engineering Excellence in delivering Structural Engineering services to support our rapid growth and diversification across renewable energy technologies.
Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct Structural Engineering activities diligently and professionally.
2. Main focus for the role will be the development of Asset Integrity strategies for offshore wind turbines.
3. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and company policies, including Zero Harm, Quality, Engineering, and Design Management.
4. Provide expertise in the design, quality, operation, and maintenance of infrastructure associated with renewable energy and storage projects.
Qualifications and Experience
1. Minimum of an Engineering degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related discipline. (Or qualified by experience)
2. IOSH (or equivalent) certification is desirable.
3. Previous experience with Asset Integrity, Offshore WTG maintenance, and Offshore foundations is needed.
4. Proficient in key areas of Engineering in the renewables environment.
5. Experience in managing risks and challenges in renewable energy projects.
