The role will be split equally between clinical practice and providing clinical leadership, teaching and supervision to members of the physiotherapy and multi-disciplinary members across all wards at the Redwoods Centre ranging from Acute care to Older adult acute and dementia.You will be an autonomous practitioner, holding a small mixed clinical caseload of those with mobility, postural management and respiratory needs. Working without direct supervision within the context of a multi-disciplinary team. Main duties of the job To lead a highly specialist physiotherapy service to adults with mental health difficulties and physical disabilities and occasionally to adults with complex developmental disorders who are unable to access mainstream services with reasonable adjustments. Undertaking clinical diagnoses, assessment and evidence based physiotherapeutic treatment programmes, management, and interventions. To deliver a high standard of care using a holistic evidence-based person centred approach on a daily basis.
