Job Title: Trade and Transaction Reporting Business Analyst Location: HEX/Hybrid Contract Length: 12 Months Role Overview: Our client is seeking a skilled Trade and Transaction Reporting Business Analyst to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you will be pivotal in tracking and analysing regulatory communications from EMEA regulators concerning trade and transaction reporting regulations, specifically the Securities Financing Transaction Regulation (SFTR). Key Responsibilities: Track and analyse regulatory communications and updates across EMEA regions, ensuring compliance with SFTR requirements. Collaborate with assigned Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to build, analyse, scope solutions, and document detailed technical business requirements. This includes reflecting necessary changes to enhance efficiency and mitigate risk. utilise the vendor tool DUCO to run and analyse reconciliations, ensuring completeness and accuracy for EMIR. Acquire skills to build and customise reconciliations using DUCO to address any identified control gaps. Communicate effectively within a multi-disciplinary team, gaining consensus for optimal solutions and implementing necessary changes within established timeframes and quality standards. Ensure that business cases, plans, and control processes are detailed and evaluate the potential impacts of changes, including maintaining a traceability matrix. Involve relevant staff or teams to facilitate timely reconciliations as part of the control framework, assess impacts, agree on solutions, and ensure high-quality controls, testing, and delivery of changes. Present issues and remediation plans to senior stakeholders across Compliance, Operations, Technology, and Vendors. Ensure resolution of identified process issues, enhance reconciliation elements/scope, test controls, deliver changes, and produce and share Management Information (MI) across various governance groups. Required Expertise: Extensive subject matter expertise across all Trade and Transaction Reporting regulations. Proficient in running, building, and analysing reconciliations and addressing identified issues. Ability to work autonomously, particularly in analysing quality assurance reports to determine and quantify impacts on the organisation. Experience supporting BAU submissions, exception reviews, and client queries as necessary.
