Manager / Senior Manager - Capital Delivery & Asset Management

Your Role
Energy Transition and Utilities is the largest sector in Capgemini Invent’s private portfolio, with a dominant brand position across all our five subsectors - Nuclear, Water, Networks, Energy Retail and Energy Transition.
As part of our ongoing growth, we are seeking an experienced senior leader in consulting and/or wider industry who demonstrates a strong business improvement mindset and who can draw on a wide range of experiences and industries, including capital delivery and/or asset management.
You will work on high profile, impactful projects which will help our clients deliver scalable energy and water infrastructure to help the UK transition to a low carbon, sustainable future. You will work in a diverse team of data & digital engineers, business consultants, industry experts, creative designers, and information and technology specialists to help grow a market leading business.
You will work collaboratively with clients at all levels of an organisation and across all stages of the asset lifecycle to help them define the key foundations and capabilities required to set up their capital project and asset operations for success. You will blend deep industry insight with the use of emerging technologies and techniques to help our clients create a digital workforce and embed more integrated ways of working.
In this role, you will:
1. Be a part of the leadership team and contribute to shaping the strategy and direction of the sector team at Capgemini.
2. Manage the delivery of projects and programmes, including defining the vision and scope, setting strategic direction, owning key relationships with senior client representatives, driving teams forward towards agreed outcomes and ensuring cohesion within your team.
3. Lead medium to large multi-disciplinary teams within large transformation programmes, being the focal point for your team members, owning project/programme deliverables and aligning with client delivery governance.
4. Take ownership and accountability for the management of risks at the delivery, project, and programme levels.
5. Partner with client stakeholders to build asset management strategies and business/investment cases and take accountability for the creation of project delivery plans and delivery roadmaps by members of your team.
6. Be a trusted partner to client stakeholders for defining future business and organisation models that combine an integrated view of people, process, technology, and data strategies.
7. Coach and mentor members of your team, ensuring that project goals/milestones are understood and prioritised.
8. Play a key role in internal recruitment processes to bring new talent into Capgemini.
Your Profile

* Currently working in a major Consulting firm, and/or in industry but having a Consulting background.
* Proven ability to be successful in a matrixed organisation, and to lead peers in selling and delivering consulting solutions.
* Experience of leading proposition building and managing medium-large delivery teams.
* Prior experience of working within an asset intensive industry and having Asset Management standards and policies.
* Managed the delivery of capital infrastructure projects both as part of a team and as a leader.
