This school is an 11-18, non-selective academy in Wellingborough and part of the growing Creative Education Trust. The school is in the heart of Wellingborough and is easily accessible by surrounding areas such as Northampton, Kettering, and Corby. The school is Ofsted rated 'Good'.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Humanities Teacher to deliver high-quality education to students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially Key Stage 5). The successful candidate will:
1. Plan and deliver engaging lessons in subjects such as History, Geography, and/or Religious Studies.
2. Foster critical thinking and a love for learning among students.
3. Support the development of a broad and balanced curriculum.
4. Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
5. Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities and events.
Minimum Requirements:
1. A degree in a relevant subject area and a teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS).
2. Experience teaching Humanities subjects, with strong subject knowledge.
3. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
4. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
