Job Title: Business Manager / Office Manager Location: Carrickfergus Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum (negotiable) Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week About the Role: Kenect are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Manager / Office Manager to oversee the smooth running of our clients office operations. Our Client is a well established and successful family business who continue to grow with in their sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day business functions, including HR administration, accounts, payroll, and office management. This is a key role within the company, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and financial accuracy across the business. Key Responsibilities: Office Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring a well-organised and efficient working environment. HR Administration: Manage HR processes, including recruitment support, onboarding, contracts, policies, absence management, and compliance with employment law. Accounts Management: Handle financial transactions, invoicing, and budget management to maintain financial health. Sage Payroll: Oversee the Processing of payroll accurately and efficiently using Sage Payroll, ensuring compliance with PAYE and HMRC regulations. Compliance & Policies: Ensure adherence to company policies, health and safety regulations, and GDPR requirements. Support Senior Management: Assist senior leadership with business strategy, planning, and administrative functions. Key Skills & Experience: Proven experience in a similar Business Manager / Office Manager role. Strong knowledge of HR administration and employment regulations. Experience with accounts management and financial reporting. Proficiency in Sage Payroll and payroll processing. Excellent organisation and time-management skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to liaise with employees at all levels. Ability to work independently and proactively manage office operations. IT proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite. Benefits: Competitive salary within the range of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum. Monday to Friday schedule with no weekend work.
