Join our Practice Team providing relief cover as a receptionist!
Presteigne Medical Centre is looking for a dedicated Medical Receptionist. We are looking to recruit an additional member of staff to join our reception team covering the substantive team members for periods of leave. Please note that the hours will be ad-hoc only and we cannot guarantee the amount of hours you will work. You will join the Practice Team as a bank member and be contacted if shifts requiring covering, with the option to accept or decline if you are unable to help.
About us: Presteigne Medical Centre joined the Shropdoc family in July 2023. Shropdoc holds the contract to provide general medical services (GMS) to the patients of Presteigne and surrounding areas. We are a small, dedicated practice team serving a population of 3600 patients. Presteigne sits on the border of Powys in a rural location.
The Wider Organisation: Shropdoc is a not-for-profit company established in 1996. Shropdoc provide 24/7 urgent primary care services for patients across Powys, Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin, and Lancashire, including out of hours service GP, care coordination, single point of access in Shropshire, and an oncology advice line.
