The Opportunity We are looking for a Food & Beverage Supervisor to join the team at the Slieve Donard Hotel. This exciting opportunity, offering a high class culinary concept, will report into the Assistant Food & Beverage manager and will be responsible for: Assisting the Restaurant Manager and Assistant Food and Beverage Manager in the Supervision of the Food & Beverage offering within the Resort. The supervision of team members in the absence of the Management Team, ensuring the efficient operation of the department and the delivery of excellent guest service. Greeting and seating guests with a warm and professional welcome on arrival. Planning, organising and prioritising to ensure that our guests’ expectations are exceeded. Matching the level of service provision and presentation to brand standards. Ensuring a seamless link between all department for example, bar and kitchen as necessary Training team members as required in the steps of service, ensuring an extremely effective and efficient guest experience. Ensuring quality standards and procedures are fully understood and implemented, and daily checking procedures are fully applied. Ensuring the Food & Beverage outlets areas, fixtures and equipment are properly maintained and presented to the required standards. Working across all Food and Beverage outlets as and when required. What we are looking for Previous relevant experience working in a leading role within the hospitality industry. Previous supervisory experience Guest focused approach with a passion to deliver excellent Guest service Problem Solving Aptitude. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure within a team. High standards of attention to detail.
