What will I be doing?
As our E-Learning Specialist, you will be both a visual storyteller and a tech-savvy administrator with expertise in adult learning principles and instructional design best practices. You’ll create engaging and effective e-learning experiences, ensuring content quality and staying up to date with the latest tools and trends. You will also take the lead in administering our LMS (Thrive), ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
As part of your everyday role, you’re likely to be involved in the following:
1. Developing, designing and publishing impactful e-learning content with authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, Adobe Captivate and Camtasia.
2. Managing e-learning projects, including planning timelines, scheduling tasks and allocating resources.
3. Staying informed of emerging e-learning platforms, authoring tools and technologies; troubleshooting LMS and e-learning content issues and providing end-user support when needed.
4. Conducting training needs analysis to identify improvement areas and tailor targeted e-learning programmes.
5. Building trusted relationships and collaborating effectively with stakeholders, including subject matter experts, the People Team and wider business colleagues.
6. Ensuring the quality and effectiveness of e-learning content through rigorous testing and evaluation.
7. Managing designated budgets for e-learning projects, implementing them efficiently and cost-effectively.
8. Tracking, evaluating and reporting on e-learning programme effectiveness and learner progress, presenting insights to the Head of Training and Development, Head of People and Chief People Officer.

Ideally, we’re looking for:
9. Recent and relevant experience as an E-Learning Specialist.
10. Expertise in instructional design and e-learning, with knowledge of a variety of learning methodologies, instructional design approaches, and e-learning best practices.
11. Proven project management skills, demonstrating the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set deadlines and deliver successfully.
12. Strong analytical skills, capable of analysing performance data, identifying trends and evaluating learning programme impact.
13. Commercial acumen and an understanding of how L&D contributes strategically to organisational success.
14. High level of technical proficiency in creating captivating content with Articulate Storyline, Rise, Adobe Captivate and Camtasia, along with proficiency in MS Office and Teams.
15. Degree-qualified (or equivalent qualification) in HR, Psychology or a related discipline.
