Calling all Gas Engineers with an Oil heating specialism in Worcestershire Platform Property Care have a great opportunity for an experienced Gas Engineer Service & Repair to join our award winning Heating Team in Worcestershire & Herefordshire. We need a Gas Engineer specialising in Oil Heating to help be part of a small team covering service and repairs to our oil heated properties there. What could you be doing? We need you to help us keep our homes up to temperature From minor servicing, full services, and repairs to basic pipe installations you will find no day the same. You'll be an Oil Heating specialist for the area but also will be still be involved in Gas Heating too. As a team player, you’ll be hard working and keen to learn with a can-do attitude. You’ll be working in people’s homes, so you’ll need to be friendly and approachable with good communication skills. You’ll also need to be organised and recognise the importance of delivering good customer service. Some things we need from you You will have sound experience and ideally be ACS qualified and have CCN1, CKR1, HTR1, CEN1 (or CENWAT), MET1, LPG and CPA1. If you are not currently ACS we can support you to re sit these in your first 6 months NVQ Level 2 Plumbing/ Heating/ Ventilation is essential As an Oil Heating specialist, you will need the following qualifications: OFT10-105E, OFT10-600A, and OFT10-101 You will be a good communicator and can work well with customers and other trades. You’ll have a full UK driving licence As you will be working in our customers’ homes you would also require a DBS check. There is also the opportunity to earn up to £1500 per annum from the out of hours on-call allowance and voluntary overtime. This role will require being on the out of hours rota. This is a mobile role covering all oil properties in Worcestershire and Herefordshire. A lot of these properties are based in rural areas so there will be more travel as part of this role, but a van and fuel card are provided. Ideally you would be centrally based in Worcestershire. The advertised salary is based upon a base salary for a Gas Engineer Service & Repair of £40,151 per annum, with average OTE earnings of up to £1,500 pro rata achieved from the out of hours on-call allowance and voluntary overtime.
