Job Title: Water Hygiene / Water Treatment Business Development Manager.
Location: Bury, Greater Manchester.
Salary / Benefits: £28k - £45k + Benefits + Commission scheme.
A UK leading Water Hygiene / Water Treatment provider with a leading presence in the North West region is seeking a focused and business-minded Water Hygiene / Water Treatment Business Development Manager. The successful candidate will have experience working hands-on as a Business Development Manager for a reputable Water Hygiene / Water Treatment outfit, ensuring consistent growth and development of client accounts, as well as working closely with sales engineers, providing training, support, and advice when required.
Experience & Qualifications:
1. Will have experience working within a Water Hygiene / Water Treatment company.
2. In-depth technical knowledge of closed heated and chilled systems.
3. Strong background working within a sales, business development, and/or account management role with a proven track record of building new and maintaining existing accounts.
4. Excellent leadership and management skills.
5. Able to organise workload efficiently.
6. Excellent communication skills via phone, email, and face-to-face.
7. Good technical knowledge of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
The Role:
1. Professionally and efficiently managing and growing Water Hygiene / Water Treatment accounts for Commercial, Residential, Educational, Leisure, and Healthcare sites.
2. Overseeing and supporting a team of sales engineers.
3. Ensuring to budget efficiently in line with business forecasting.
4. Selling various Water Hygiene/L8 Compliance and Closed System services.
5. Liaising with clients, acting as first point of contact, taking new enquiries and following up sales leads.
6. Updating internal systems, ensuring they are accurate and up to date.
7. Creating monthly and annual sales reports.
8. Attending meetings in line with company and client needs to discuss requirements and budgets for projects to be carried out, ensuring to promote the company professionally.
9. Ensuring work is being carried out in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
10. Carrying out training and career development with new and existing employees.
