Leaders In Care are looking for an experienced Fostering Social Worker to work for a Local Authority in South Wales, which has quick access to the M4 enabling ease of travel, not many country roads to get stuck on!
You will be an experienced practitioner who is good with assessment and analytical skills with experience in completing Form F, Special Guardianship and Connected Person Timescales.
Within this role, the responsibilities will include:
1. Undertaking Form F assessments
2. Undertaking Viability assessments
3. Presenting reports to The Fostering Panel
4. Holding a caseload of Foster Carers
5. Providing supervision and support to foster carers
6. Identifying both good practices and weaknesses in fostering
* 6 month contract – Stable role in 2025!
* 2 days fixed working from home

As this is a statutory role, you do require a social work qualification & registration to Social Work Wales.
