EMEA Warehouse Assistant | Letchworth, UK (On-site) | 40 hours per week | Salary depending on experience Our client, is the security industry's premier program management firm. The mission of the EMEA Warehouse Assistant is to effectively manage inbound and outbound shipments by organising, monitoring, storage of goods to ensure optimisation of the order cycle. Please note- This is a largely active role with periodic distractions. This position requires the ability to regularly move/lift packages up to 35 pounds. Are you the right person for the job? Must have the right to work in the UK Preferably have proven experience as a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator, or similar warehouse role Preferably have knowledge of international shipping regulations, customs documentation, and import/export processes Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in using shipping software and Microsoft Office Suite Ability to work independently and as part of a team Zendesk experience a plus ERP experience (SAP experience a plus) Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to manage independently all related daily shipping activities under minimal supervision What will your role look like? Process and log all incoming shipments Process and log all outgoing shipments Fulfil sales orders using the corporate ERP system and other tools Maintain proper inventory records and counts Maintain a clean warehouse free of obvious safety hazards To continuously review current process and practices with the aim of increasing efficiency and customer service Ensure effective communication between internal and external stakeholders Ensure data integrity is maintained on all procurement tools Check all work for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with instructions Respond to and dealing with communication by email and telephone Coordinates a variety of clerical and manual duties related to receiving, storing, and shipping merchandise, supplies and equipment To work in compliance with the Company's Health and Safety standards and requirements, with the safety of self and others in mind at all time Will perform cycle count activities as needed Perform other duties and special project functions as assigned What can you expect in return? 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
