Senior Guidewire Technical Lead Consultant
Whitehall Resources currently require an experienced Guidewire Technical Lead to work with a key client based in London.
Please note this role falls inside IR35 and requires 2 Days onsite weekly in London.
Description:
We are looking forward to hiring a Senior Guidewire Tech Lead / Consultant, based in London, to be part of the strategic Policy and claim admin platform consolidation programme.
Responsibilities:
1. Understand the complexity nature of the business problems and requirements.
2. Design highly scalable software solutions to improve functionality and system longevity.
3. Develop modules of the initial enterprise system plan and work with the development team by coding advanced portions of the modules.
4. Plan and execute all deployment of system features and monitor for successful integration, maintaining the system throughout its lifecycle.
5. Consolidate the requirements and identify future-proof solutions.
6. Adept in performance tuning.
7. Suggest and implement best practices of Agile methodology and design/development principles.
Experience:
1. Expertise in Guidewire Claims Centre V9 or V10 (configure and customise ClaimCenter Application as required).
2. Knowledge of insurance domain and claims process.
3. Experience in integrating Guidewire Claims Centre with downstream systems including finance systems (general ledger), payment systems, and documents management systems.
4. Experience in integrating Guidewire Claims Centre V9 or V10 with third party/broker policy management systems.
5. Experience in integrating 3rd party feeds to cloud data platforms.
6. Experienced in migrating data from legacy systems to Guidewire Claims Centre V9 or V10.
7. Ability to draw efficient High Level and Low-level design documents.
8. 5+ years’ experience working directly with customers or key internal stakeholders.
9. Expertise in reconciling data from Guidewire to Datawarehouse.
10. Experience and demonstrated abilities with GOSU programming, XML, PCF, REST, and SOAP.
11. Guidewire Configuration certification preferred.
12. Experience with source code management systems such as Subversion, GitHub.
13. Flexible in working under changing and different work environments.
14. Knowledge of General Insurance domain and claims processes.
15. Contribute to the development of internal tools that can be used during triage and identify reconciliation issues.
16. Familiarity with software development lifecycle, Agile preferred.
17. Experience troubleshooting software code and reporting progress.
