The Community Response Team operates across the hours of 08:30 to 21:30, 7 days a week, including weekends and bank holidays. Shifts are allocated pro rata, we offer a mix of early, late and long days. We are looking for a flexible and organised individual to join our team. Whether you are newly qualified, or already an experienced Assistant Practitioner, we will support you to become an autonomous practitioner within our team. The successful candidate will be self -motivated, enthusiastic, possess excellent communication skills and be a good team player. You must be able to demonstrate effective interpersonal and leadership skills. You will be working collaboratively with the other community service teams to deliver seamless care across the locality, working within an unpredictable and unscheduled workload. Main duties of the job The nursing associate has a breadth of knowledge across the lifespan and across the fields of nursing, providing holistic and person centred care and support for people of all ages and in a variety of settings. The nursing associate works independently under the leadership of registered nurses, working within the sphere of nursing and care and within all aspects of the nursing process. Nursing associates are equipped with the knowledge, understanding, skills, attitudes and behaviours relevant to employment as a nursing associate and will work to a nationally recognised code of conduct.
