We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, ambitious and motivated PE teacher to join our dynamic and vibrant PE department. The post would suit a newly qualified or experienced teacher.

The Sport department consists of 10 teachers, 1 Sports Coach and 1 Apprentice. A number of the teachers in the department have responsibilities elsewhere in the school. It is run by the Director of Sport and assisted by the Second in Charge. Across KS3 all students take Games. At KS4, GCSE PE and BTEC Sport are both popular options. At KS5, the Single Sport route is a popular choice, many of those students also following the Double Sport route.
The Sport department offer a huge range of extra curricular activities and have had real success in competitions.
The Priory Ruskin Academy is a member of The Priory Federation of Academies Trust, an established and supportive MAT, there are around 40 PE teachers in the Trust and there is a likelihood that opportunities could arise across the Trust which could be explored at the end of the contract if desired.
