In our continuous journey of growth and innovation at Carnival Corporation, we are seeking a Data Governance Manager to bring fresh insights and expertise to our Corporate Maritime Asset Management Strategy department.
Role Overview
Key accountabilities include:
* Create and maintain governance policies and processes through collaboration with workstream SMEs across our Operating Companies and Corporate functions
* Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in existing processes and implement new ways of working to increase data management maturity
* Drive sign-off and implementation of governance policies and processes, utilising negotiation and change management skills
* Ensure governance documentation is held in a central repository and relevant approved documents uploaded to Global HESS
Position Requirements
Our ideal candidates are those who possess the technical skills required for data framework & governance. Your technical background and professional certifications in this area will be the foundation of your role within our team.
Required Qualifications and Skills
* Strong experience and understanding of data governance and/or business process analysis from similar roles
* Excellent analytical skills and experience in business process analysis
* Ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders
* Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), Data Governance and Stewardship Professional (DGSP), Certified Information Management Professional (CIMP), or equivalent certifications are preferred
