Description About the Job We are looking for an Employee Relations Partner to join our People Team, supporting our 3 resorts in Bognor Regis, Minehead, and Skegness, as well as our central support centre in Hemel Hempstead. As an Employee Relations Partner, you will be a true expert in relevant employment law, people policies, and case management, forming strong working partnerships with people teams on our resorts and operational leaders to become a credible and trusted partner and coach. With a team of over 4800 across the business including around 400 leaders, the People Team is engaged with the full employee lifecycle as well as supporting teams with a diverse range of ER activity. You’ll provide insight and coaching regarding relevant employment principles and complex employee relations issues that may be escalated to you from our resort teams for advice. You will also lead in ensuring we have sight of all ER activity across the business, ensuring that we are aware of any relevant activity, deadlines, and corresponding actions. Due to the nature of this role, you will also at times work closely with our solicitors and liaise with other external partners and organisations where needed. You will also have a strong partnership with our HR Policy lead to ensure we have alignment across the business and are operating to best practice. This role will be field-based to enable you to cover all our resorts as well as our support centre when needed. We would also expect you to be available within our Hemel Support Centre on a regular basis to ensure the team has a point of contact when needed for any employee relations-based queries. About You We are looking for an experienced HR professional with strong demonstrable experience of managing a wide range of Employee Relations within a large, multi-site organisation. While we would consider candidates from any sector, experience within retail, hospitality, or leisure would be advantageous. You should have a strong understanding of employment law and be aware of upcoming legislation changes or future government initiatives that will have a business impact, ensuring we are proactive in managing the impact of these. The ability to build strong relationships with both our people teams and leadership teams is essential for this role. You should be a strong communicator with the confidence to challenge and hold others to account. Discretion and trustworthiness is a given for this role and you should also have the ability to unpick information and draw logical conclusions. A CIPD qualification would be considered advantageous along with any other relevant HR qualifications, but this is not essential. What is more important to us is your mindset, the ability to understand and connect to our culture and values, and the drive to learn quickly. Interested?
