Our client is a globally recognised design consultancy looking to hire an Assistant Building Surveyor to work on a range of projects. The right candidate will be driven, commercially aware and looking for long term career progression. Responsibilities: - Work across a range of different buildings and clients, including commercial, public, banking, residential, healthcare, defence and education sectors - Support senior managers and colleagues in daily duties - preparing report templates, validating survey data and taking minutes - Support several other offices based across the UK in the delivery of key national commissions - Work across large scale survey programmes, assessing the condition of building assets and capturing data using an iPad - Work alongside wider team delivering contract administration, defect analysis, project management, measures surveys and the party wall act and dilapidations
Requirements
- Degree in Building Surveying (RICS accredited) - Must possess the ability to contribute ideas effectively with clients and colleagues - Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills - Full UK driving license - Strong written communication - Strong IT skills - Excellent organisational and time management - Ability to work away from home as required Desirable: - Basic AutoCad ability
