What will you do? This role will be a fixed term 1 year contract to support the Digital Transformation team by developing and optimizing Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) automation processes across various company operations. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain PLC programs for new and existing automation systems. Collaborate with engineering teams to understand system requirements and integrate PLC solutions. Conduct simulations and tests to ensure PLC programs meet functional and safety standards. Troubleshoot and modify PLC code to improve system performance and resolve issues. Document PLC programming changes and maintain version control. Provide technical support and training to team members on PLC-related matters. Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science or a related field with a focus on automation. Basic knowledge of PLC programming languages (e.g., Ladder Logic, Function Block Diagram, Structured Text). Familiarity with PLC hardware and software from major manufacturers (e.g., Schneider Electric, Siemens, Allen-Bradley). Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and control system diagrams. Excellent analytical skills and a methodical approach to problem-solving. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
