Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech? Vishay Newport, UK is currently seeking applicants for a Senior Manager SiC Process Integration Engineering.
Responsible for: As a Senior Manager Silicon Carbide Process Integration, you will contribute to the success of Vishay through driving best-in-class processes and yield performance with your leadership and expertise in SiC process integration and project optimization.
Job Location: This position is located in Newport, UK.
What you will be doing:
* Design, develop and qualify semiconductor SiC wafer fabrication processes.
* Develop new wafer process modules for SiC wafers.
* Execute major process development and/or integration tasks and build up products.
* Maintain and improve process modules including design rules, structural and electrical specifications.
* Design critical experiments and analyze data.
* Identify and quantify key module deficiencies/technology gaps, and drive cross-functional teams to address them.
* Assist in the transfer of a new technology from R&D to manufacturing ramp and qualification.
* Provide technical mentoring to junior engineers.
What you will bring along:
* Master’s or B.S. degree in Semiconductor Device Physics or Semiconductor Technology and/or Microelectronics.
* Minimum 3 years’ relevant working experience.
* Knowledge of semiconductor devices and industrial semiconductor technology.
* Hands-on experience in wafer fab process module developments on furnace equipment.
* Experience with manufacturing and standard cost environment required with exposure to semiconductor process-oriented environments preferred.
* Exposure to lean manufacturing concepts is highly desirable.
* Must clearly and concisely present and interact at a leadership level.
* Excellent problem-solving skills – able to identify problems and/or opportunities for improvement and assess viable solutions. Develop and execute comprehensive action plans.
* Ability to effectively manage multiple assignments concurrently, including the ability to assess and manage priorities.
* Effective communication skills, particularly the ability to communicate technical expertise.
* Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills. Must be able to build rapport with Operations and cross-functional colleagues and foster collaborative relationships.
* Willingness to travel.
