Facilities Assistant
The Role: You will be an integral member of the facilities team and take responsibility for a variety of tasks to ensure a comprehensive and high-quality facilities service.

3. IT literacy and willingness to learn new skills
4. Previous experience working in a professional services environment
The role additionally requires someone who:
1. Possesses strong communication skills across a varied range of stakeholders
2. Has a strong attention to detail
Main duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Ensure all internal and external post is dealt with efficiently and effectively
2. Set up meeting rooms/seminars and equipment as per requirements in a timely manner
3. Assist staff and partners with all their facilities-related queries
4. Ensure the scanning of documents, plans, text/pictures is to the highest standard
5. Adhere in all respects with the firm's values of openness and integrity, working together, respect for each other, and strong client relationships
6. Comply with the firm's procedures for the safe-keeping of documents
7. Act in a professional and courteous manner when dealing with clients (both internal and external) and always project a positive image of the firm
8. Ensure relevant firm database/records are accurate and up to date on a regular basis
9. Ensure your availability at all times during contracted hours
10. Work effectively with the firm's support services and treat all your work colleagues with respect
11. Meet deadlines or liaise with the appropriate person if a deadline is causing difficulty and provide an updated time estimate
12. Be courteous and professional to others
13. Obtain the necessary information to deal with enquiries, requests, instructions, etc.
14. Be proficient with the features of the software packages used in your area of work
15. Ask for constructive feedback about your performance, consider issues identified, and take steps to improve your performance
16. Identify the training and development you need to do your job more effectively and to further develop you personally, and raise these during your annual performance review or at other times upon request
