The successful candidate will be a part of a newly redesigned Management Structure within the Integrated Service Directorate, giving you the opportunity to be able to focus on service change & improvement. To succeed in this position the post holder will require the ability to manage multiple and competing priorities whilst ensuring needs of the Administration Teams are met. The post holder should have excellent interpersonal skills to be able to work alongside the Admin teams and lead them in delivering Key Performance Targets set within the Directorate. This will give an excellent opportunity to interact with the wider Multi-disciplinary team such as Clinicians and Senior Management. In this role you will be able to help the Directorate deliver excellent care to our patients by supporting the delivery of key performance targets within the Community Referral Hub, Urgent Care Response Team and Virtual Ward. This role will be ideal for someone looking to make the step into NHS management. Main duties of the job Operational management To line manage staff in accordance with Trust Policies and procedures: Absence management Performance and conduct issues Induction Mandatory Training Regular 1:1 meetings Appraisal and compliance with policies and procedures Recruitment Annual Leave Maintaining adequate staffing and resolving daily operational issues. Developing local administrative procedures, guideline and supporting specific projects as required Providing reports, databases, and information to the management team. Supporting service managers and team leaders with data collection, collation, and review of research and audit projects. Providing capacity management support and forecasting data. Working autonomously with the ability to seek advice and guidance when necessary. Keeping up-to-date with developments and technology used in day-to-day practice. Providing training on all IT systems used in the team.
