The Site Leader is the ‘captain of the team’ at each site, leading and inspiring a team dedicated to the highest levels of customer satisfaction. The Site Leader is one of the senior management team but is also the prime liaison and point of contact between the site and central activities of the Group, unlike other members of the team on site. Highlight these to Group with data to support payback periods so that return on investment can be monitored Ensure timely and informative performance management at all relevant levels on site, identifying coaching and training needs Plan and request approval from Group for regular, small-scale, site-wide activities and larger, longer-term or more costly projects to support and improve team spirit, whilst keeping informed of other site initiatives, plans and successes Allocate site resources (labour, raw materials, energy and finish goods inventory) effectively. Report KPIs to Group as and when required. Support new customer projects Attend and support Group-level activities when and wherever required 10 KPIs Health & Safety: accident reporting - injuries, lost-time accidents, near miss reporting, preventative measures (days to implement), risk & hazard assessments undertaken (& time to implement resulting corrective actions) - weekly and monthly reporting Sickness & absence levels - weekly & monthly reporting OTIF (on-time, in-full) delivery statistics - weekly & monthly reporting Sales (invoices despatches) - record daily & explain variances on a weekly basis OEE & capacity utilisation - ensure accuracy on InTouch Scrap - ensure accurate recording on InTouch Labour costs - adherence to plan Housekeeping & 5S - self-auditing & delivering improvements when requested or highlighted Order book reporting (regular and accurate displaying on site and to Group) Forecasting output - adherence to plan Qualifications & Skills Self-starter, able to prioritise, focus and execute with determination Attention to detail and ability to dig deep into detail and then rise up to see the big picture Natural instinct to work collaboratively to achieve a win-win outcome in all areas Ability to remain calm under pressure Ability to make decisions independently, quickly and decisively An instinct to determine, measure and mitigate risk A 'finisher', who ensures tasks are completed, often in the face of conflicting constraints Inquisitive mind, with an eye on emerging technologies and how they might be applied to Goodfish Proven experience at leading and transforming site manufacturing capability and capacity Commercial awareness when it comes to the site financial performance Remuneration (Group Contract) Basic salary : £50-75,000 pa depending on level of experience, enthusiasm & energy, complexity of site activities, customer requirements and contribution to Group profitability Bonus : monthly Group-wide bonus individual performance bonus (for exceptional, consistently profitable performance over the financial year) Hours Although the contracted hours will state 40 hours this is a senior role and requires the flexibility and dedication required to deliver outstanding performance targets for the Flint site.
