Since our formation in 1976, Trackwork has developed into a leading provider of construction and engineering services to the rail network. We provide engineering expertise, project management, and rail industry services including the manufacture & sales of permanent way materials, design & installation, and maintenance of track and signalling and telecoms services. We operate across Network Rail, TfL, and privately managed rail infrastructures.
We are currently looking to appoint a Senior HSEQ Manager to provide pro-active guidance and assistance to the Company on the discharge of its duty towards health & safety, environmental, and quality assurance issues.
The successful candidate will be tasked with promoting the continued development of a positive health & safety, environmental, and quality assurance culture throughout the Company and actively lead initiatives to achieve this goal. The Senior HSEQ will ensure HSEQ support is deployed efficiently across the business, focusing efforts on those areas of greatest risk. The role will be based at our Doncaster Office with widespread UK travel requirements.
Competence Requirements:
Our ideal candidate will hold:
* Chartered member of IOSH (CMIOSH)
* IEMA Practitioner Member (PIEMA)
* NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ (Diploma Level) or Equivalent
* Certificate in Environmental Management
* Personal Track Safety (PTS)
* Lead Accident Investigator
* A strong understanding of the requirements of ISO:9001, ISO:14001, and ISO:45001
* Experience of leading HSEQ functions in multidisciplinary environments
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and willingness to challenge arrangements to improve existing standards
* Ability to assess risk and lead initiatives to drive improvement – providing best for business solutions within the railway regulatory framework
* Accountability for developing the HSEQ function to be an excellent professional service to the wider business, capable of delivering the highest standards of HSEQ management and leadership, and providing a high level of consistent advice
