Job Title: Senior Regional Manager, UK
Salary: £43,800 - £58,500 per annum
Location: Cambridge, UK & Hybrid working
Contract: Permanent, full time (35 hours per week)
This is an exciting opportunity to join Cambridge University Press & Assessment as Senior Regional Manager, UK, where you will play a high-profile role in managing relationships with private and independent schools across the UK and the Isle of Man.
You will develop and manage a business development plan to maintain and grow the Cambridge International market in the UK. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the UK private education sector.
About the role
As Senior Regional Manager, UK, you will manage relationships with senior staff at key stakeholder organisations and represent the interests of UK private and independent schools at a senior level within Cambridge.
In this newly created role, you will represent Cambridge during school visits and at key events and conferences, ensuring that the marketing and promotion of qualifications and other services is targeted at the most appropriate schools and stakeholders.
Collaborating with colleagues across Cambridge International, you will contribute to regional strategic planning. This role involves establishing high-level relationships with key decision-makers in the private and independent sector to position Cambridge International as a trusted partner in education.
Key responsibilities include:
* Actively managing relationships with senior stakeholders at private and independent schools and affiliated associations
* Developing and implementing a business development plan for Cambridge International in the UK
* Collaborating internally to provide market feedback and identify new opportunities
* Providing intelligence on UK educational developments
* Managing financial elements including budgeting and forecasting
About you
You will have experience of working in schools education, with good knowledge of the private and independent schools sector in the UK, along with knowledge of international education and assessment. Consultative sales experience would also be beneficial.
You will have a solutions-focused approach, the ability to build strong relationships, and demonstrate confidence working across a varied portfolio.
In addition, we are looking for someone who is:

* Capable of setting and implementing targets
Please note that this role requires extensive travel around the UK – approximately 8-10 weeks a year during school term times, with all travel expenses reimbursed. A valid UK driving licence is therefore essential for this role.
