Job Description
We are seeking an experienced finance professional to join our team as an Assistant Finance Manager at our site in Goole. This is a temporary 9-month FTC role, working Monday to Friday during office hours.
This role offers the opportunity to support the Finance Manager in providing a comprehensive finance support function to the site, maintaining a strong financial control environment and ensuring accuracy and integrity of information.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with the preparation of weekly and monthly financial reports
* Support the month end close process, balance sheets and revenue reconciliation
* Prepare cross charges and liaise with other sites for approval to process these cross charges
* Create charging documents and raise sales invoices
Requirements:
* Completion of or studying towards a professional qualification such as AAT, CIMA or ACCA is desirable
* Past experience within a financial role within a similar business or environment
* High level of accuracy & attention to detail, with an analytical mindset
* The ability to work well under pressure and prioritise workload in order to meet deadlines
Salary and Benefits:
We are offering a salary of up to £35,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), access to high street discounts, cycle to work scheme, workplace pension, and internal promotions.
