Childcare Practitioner - Nursery in Newark-on-Trent
Location: Newark-on-Trent
Start Date: As soon as possible
Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday (Part-time available for the right candidate)
Pay Rate: £14.75 - £15 per hour
Simply Education is looking for a passionate and dedicated Childcare Practitioner to join a friendly and supportive nursery in Newark-on-Trent. This is an excellent opportunity for a Level 3 Childcare Practitioner or an experienced early years professional who is committed to providing high-quality care and education in a nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivering high-quality childcare and ensuring the safety and well-being of children
Planning and implementing engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
Encouraging children's development through structured play, social interaction, and learning experiences
Building strong relationships with children, parents, and staff to create a positive nursery environment
Monitoring and recording children's progress to support their learning journey
Candidate Requirements:
A Level 3 qualification in Childcare (or equivalent) is essential
Knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development best practices
Passionate about early years education and child development
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
The ability to work full-time or part-time, depending on suitability
