People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Logistics Administrator to join our well-established client based in Stockport, Bredbury.

As a Logistics Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting the Transport team by managing logistics, coordinating schedules, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This role is essential to maintaining the efficiency and reliability of our transportation services.

Day to Day Duties:
* Administrative Support: Assist in providing general administrative support to the team, including managing incoming calls, responding to emails, filing documents, and maintaining compliance within the logistics team.
* Data Entry and Record Keeping: Accurately input and maintain records and data using appropriate systems and software. Ensure data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with data protection guidelines.
* Communication: Assist in maintaining good communication with drivers and customers, facilitating effective communication within the team.
* Documentation and Reporting: Assist in maintaining business documents, policies, and procedures. Support in the preparation of regular reports and statistical analysis when required.
* Customer Service: Assist in delivering excellent customer service by responding to queries promptly and professionally.
* Support the logistics function in ensuring driver licence codes are obtained and holidays are planned effectively.
* Previous experience as a Transport Administrator.
* Excellent communicator & relationship builder.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Strong ability to understand, translate, and present large amounts of complex data.
* Able to work as an individual as well as part of a team.
* Sound IT & PC skills including all Microsoft packages and Teams, particularly Excel, with formatting and pivot table experience necessary.
