Job Title: General Labor/ Sanitation
Department: Field Food and Beverage
Reports to: Site Foreman
Job Summary:
The General Labor/Sanitation role involves overseeing and managing various sanitation tasks within the field food and beverage department. Successful candidates must have strong organizational skills and be able to communicate effectively with Field, Engineering, Shop, and Office personnel. This position requires the ability to complete tasks efficiently and meet established timelines.
Success Criteria & Measurement:
1. Understand each phase of sanitation tasks and how work will be completed.
2. Maintain all sanitation data in an organized manner.
3. Deliver tasks on time.
4. Must be a Certified Welding Inspector.
Responsibilities:
1. Ensure sanitation tasks are completed on schedule.
2. Determine supplies, tools, and equipment needs, place orders, and organize them in advance of production needs.
3. Ability to interpret sanitation-related drawings and instructions.
4. Interact with management, employees, and customers in a professional and positive manner.
5. Consult with ISI’s Pipe Supervisor/Project Manager to plan and track sanitation schedules and job-related activities.
6. Ensure a safe working environment for ISI employees and customers.
7. Review, train, and develop ISI employees in sanitation practices.
Requirements and Qualifications:
1. 3-5 years of Supervisory experience.
2. 5 years of experience in sanitation and related fields.
3. Highly proficient at reading and working from sanitation-related blueprints.
4. Possess excellent planning and coordination skills.
5. Strong leadership and communication skills.
6. Good attention to detail.
7. Provide own hand tools (the tools of the trade).
8. Must have CWI certification.
9. Have a current valid driver’s license with a safe driving history.
10. Pass a weld test on sanitary tubing and on carbon pipe.
