Our client is an internationally based travel company specialising in corporate and leisure travel.
They are now recruiting for a Flights Support Consultant to join their operations team to provide out of hours support working from 12pm - 8.30pm, Wednesday to Sunday with Monday and Tuesday off.
This is a key role in providing flights and operations support to their travel consultants.
Candidates must have extensive flights, ticketing and fares knowledge with working knowledge of a major GDS.
This is a mainly remote role with one day per week required in the Central London office.
Flights Operations Support Consultant Responsibilities and Duties:
Supporting the travel consultants who manage corporate and leisure clients
Actioning requests sent over to the helpdesk, such as issuing/reissuing and refunding complex airline tickets
Assist travel consultant's with systems such as concur, Dophone etc, helping with ADMS, GDS issues in Amadeus and Galileo
Assist new travel consultants with setup and run training sessions
Manage the UK hotel inbox to ensure all email are distributed
Support advisors with NDC requests
Quality checking consultants bookings
Flights Support Consultant Experience Required:
Extensive travel experience in a similar support and operations based role
